Return to Main Dial Up Page  Accessing Windows Services from Off Campus

This is the definitive page for DNS and WINS server addresses and any changes will be posted here first.  If you are publishing this information, please link to this page instead of copying the information.

To access Windows services (such as disk space, printers, or peer-to-peer networking) directly from a dial up connection, you might have to hard code the following information in your dialup settings for TCP/IP:

Set Up Documentation  Documentation provided by Training, Network Dial-up Instructions, explains how to set up this access.  The URL is to the document is:

http://www.csv.missouristate.edu/Training/documentation/pam/pam005/

These values can and will change, but we will make an effort to see that any changes are reflected here so that you can update your own machine when required.  Please do not hard-code these addresses unless absolutely required.  Doing so will only make things more difficult for you when these addresses change again.
