As indicated in the official University dialup policy, while peak usage connect time remains less than 75 hours for the month, the
user is also granted unlimited connection time during non-peak times (1:00 AM
to 12:59 PM).
For your personal dialup
usage, click on the icon to the left. A user's normal dialup access will be terminated for the duration of the month if a
user consumes all 75 hours of peak time allotted. Access is denied during
peak hours and three hours prior to peak which applies to all of
the dialup pools, whether peak restricted or not. Therefore, users who
have exceeded peak limits may only access dialup modems from 1:00 AM
to 9:59 AM. Stopping access at 10:00 AM
insures that no peak time is consumed since the absolute
drop time is currently 3 hours.
