Alert conditions:
|
|
Red |
A major condition exists, either ongoing or intermittent, that
causes a sever degradation or a complete outage of a given service.
A large number of users are impacted. |
|
|
Orange |
A major condition exists that causes sever impact on networking
services, but the problem has been temporarily circumvented. The
condition affects a large number of users and some degradation of
services could still exist, but most users will not notice any
problems. |
|
|
Yellow |
An
intermediate
condition exists that causes noticeable impact,
but to a limited number of users or a very small impact exists for
many users. Usually, no services are
totally lost, but delays on obtaining the service may exist. |
|
|
Green |
Green alerts usually indicate a positive condition exists and it
is most often used for a limited time to document the correction of
other alert conditions. |
