NEWS: Cheek Power Outage June 3

June 3, 2000

Electrical power will be shut down on Saturday, June 3  at Cheek Hall for electrical repair.  The power outage is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. Saturday to 8:00 a.m. Sunday, June 4.  Because Cheek Hall is our primary main network center, this outage will affect the entire campus network and dial up modem service.  All network services to the Internet, central campus servers, electronic mail, and dial up services will be unavailable during this outage.

Please note that the electrical power will only be shut off at Cheek, but all services routed through Cheek Hall will be down.  We regret in any inconvenience this outage may cause, but network service will be restored as soon as possible.  Please contact Mark Harsen if you have any questions or concerns.
