New IP address for VPN users.
A new VPN concentrator (or server) is now in production at Missouri State
University and the old VPN concentrator will be removed on March 1st, 2006.
All VPN users must edit their VPN configurations and change "146.7.7.230" to the
new address. Group settings may also need updating.

VPN IP addresses changes
A new VPN (Virtual Private Network) concentrator with more capacity and
additional security features has been installed and is fully operational at
Missouri State University. All VPN users will be required to change the IP
address of the VPN server from 146.7.2.230 to the new address.
Authorized users may download VPN client software, obtain installation
instructions, and receive the new IP address by displaying the
Cisco VPN Client page.
You will be
asked to sign on with your MSAD (Microsoft Active Directory) account also known
as your private ID or your login ID, unless you are already signed in. Users who already have the VPN client
should look for the bolded information under the "Setup" heading. Be sure
the IP address, group name, and group password are correct. The old group
associated with Southwest Missouri State University is supported only on the old
concentrator and is not supported on the new one since the University has been
renamed.
Failure to update the connection IP address before March 1st, 2006 will
result in loss of connectivity to the VPN concentrator and therefore loss of
access to any resources secured for on-campus use only.
