Things to keep in mind when deploying other wireless devices. One of the most important things to keep in mind when purchasing or deploying equipment that uses any type of wireless communication is interference. The majority of equipment that operates in the 5 GHz range will, in most cases, not interfere with other 5 GHz equipment of a different type. For example, 5 GHz cordless phones will not interfere with 802.11n wireless access points. Devices operating in the 2.4 GHz range do not share this benefit. Any device operating in this range has the freedom to use any or all for the band as it sees fit. So a 2.4 GHz microwave oven will interfere with your 2.4 GHz cordless phone, your bluetooth headset, 802.11b/g wireless access points, most wireless microphone devices, etc. Radio frequencies used by 802.11:Please avoid the use of devices that operate in the following frequency ranges.
